The Dallas Cowboys 20-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night wasn’t the only hardship the team suffered from this weekend.

During the game three key Cowboys players, linebacker Leighton Vander Esch, tight end Blake Jarwin and offensive tackle Cam Erving, all exited the game with injuries and did not return.

Vander Esch left with a fractured collarbone late in the first quarter and both Jarwin and Erving exited in the second quarter with knee injuries. According to a report from the Dallas Morning News, the team fears that Jarwin’s injury could be a torn ACL.

“It’s really sad,” running back Ezekiel Elliott said of Jarwin’s injury. “You see a guy work so hard all of camp. My heart goes out to him. We’re going to be praying for him.”

Erving is believed to have sprained his left MCL, but will undergo an MRI on Monday.

Cowboys officials confirmed that Vander Esch fractured his collarbone shortly after the injury, but did not specify the time frame of when he’d be able to return. Regardless of the time, the 24-year-old LB has full support from a fellow member of his position group.

“I know how it feels to be injured, to suffer an injury,” said LB Jaylon Smith. “I don’t wish that on anyone. It’s definitely tough… He’s going to come back strong.”
